House Rules

Campaign Rules I am planning for the campaign to be run in D&D 3.5, but if someone wants their class to resemble the Pathfinder version, that is probably fine. Alternate Armor Rules Armor applies its Armor Bonus as AC and additionally as Damage Reduction A strength bonus on an attack equal to the Armor bonus is required to penetrate past the damage reduction Certain attack types can ignore the damage reduction depending on the armor Heavy Crossbows and muskets ignore all DR Attacks that get passed the armor will roll a die to determine where on the body they hit Attacks that hit an area with armor and do more than the armor’s AC bonus in damage create a weak spot in the armor Weak spots can be repaired with a craft armor check Attackers can aim for weak spots in the armor, or for unarmored areas by using an equation of AC = the size modifier for appropriate for the spot + Armor AC for the spot + Dex + Shield + Deflection + Natural Armor Critical hits can create weak spots Alternative Damage Rules Full Function Threshold

Alastonal

Background Revenant followers of Alastonal follow the teachings of Saint Ethana the Prophet. Saint Ethana was a priest of Alastonal whose church burned down with her inside it. She emerged unscathed and thereafter was changed. She was reborn as a prophet who challenged the church’s emphasis of law and its moral neutrality.

Eberus Benton "The Valkyrie"

Born into a clan of warriors known as the Valkyrie, Eberus Benton was trained in combat from a young age, tough love was all he knew. As he grew, Eberus showed combat prowess and cunning beyond his years, and was marked for greatness by the Valkyrie Clan.

Larrel Genrie

Larrel Genrie was an orphan. Spending his life primarily living on the streets Larrel often had difficulty finding his next meal. Despite going hungry many nights he found it difficult to bring himself to steal, it didn’t seem right to given that he lived in a poor area and many of the shop keepers weren’t much better off.
